WOOD
The wooden sculptures seen here are carved mainly from Tupelo Gum wood from the Louisiana bayous. Because they compete in National, International and World level competitions, these are the most highly detailed sculptures and may take many hundred hours for some to be completed. They are painted with acrylics, gouache, inks and sometimes oils. Several of the sculptures here have won Best of Show at International and World level competitions.
